All orders are packed and dispatched from our store in Western Australia.

We aim to process and dispatch orders as quickly as possible. Delivery timeframes are estimates and may vary depending on your location, the shipping service selected, customs clearance, carrier delays and circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Shipping charges are displayed at checkout before payment is completed.

• Free Standard Shipping: Orders of $150.00 or more

Shipping Rates – New Zealand

Standard Shipping rates are calculated based on the total weight of your order:

• 0–0.5 kg: $25.00 AUD

• Over 0.5–1 kg: $32.00 AUD

• Over 1–2 kg: $45.00 AUD

• Over 2–5 kg: $75.00 AUD

All shipping charges are displayed at checkout before payment.

Please note: Free shipping is not available for New Zealand orders.

Import Duties & Taxes

New Zealand orders may be subject to import duties, GST, customs clearance fees and other charges imposed by New Zealand authorities.

These charges are not included in our shipping rates and are the responsibility of the customer, except where Salt Water Surf Co. is legally required to collect or pay them.

If a customer refuses to pay applicable import charges and the parcel is returned to us, any refund will be processed in accordance with our Returns Policy and applicable consumer laws. Return shipping costs may be deducted where legally permitted.

3. EUROPEAN UNION (EU) SHIPPING

Shipping charges are calculated according to the total shipping weight of your order and the applicable shipping rate for your destination.

The shipping charge is displayed at checkout before payment.

Tracking & Signature

EU orders are dispatched using an international shipping service with tracking and signature on delivery, where that service is available for the destination.

If a suitable shipping service is unavailable, we may contact the customer to discuss alternative arrangements or cancel and refund the order.

Import Duties, VAT & Customs Charges

International shipping charges do not include import VAT, customs duties, tariffs, customs clearance fees or other charges imposed by the destination country unless expressly stated at checkout.

Where shipments are sent using a receiver-paid import arrangement, customers are responsible for paying applicable import charges to the destination customs authority or delivery provider.

Salt Water Surf Co. will collect or pay import taxes and duties where legally required.

Customers may be contacted by the destination delivery provider before their parcel can be released or delivered.

Mandatory consumer rights relating to delivery, cancellation, withdrawal and refunds remain unaffected.

4. UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (USA) SHIPPING

USA orders are dispatched using an international shipping service with tracking and signature on delivery, where available.

Import Duties, Tariffs & Taxes

Orders entering the United States may be subject to import duties, tariffs, customs processing fees and other applicable charges.

Certain shipping services and customs arrangements may require Salt Water Surf Co. to prepay import duties or tariffs before dispatch.

Where sender prepayment is required, we will arrange payment through an approved provider or shipping service.

Any import charges payable by the customer will be disclosed or collected in accordance with applicable law and the shipping arrangements used.

Customers will not necessarily be able to pay all US import charges upon arrival.

Where required prepayment arrangements are unavailable, we may suspend, decline or cancel affected shipments and refund the amounts paid for orders we cannot fulfil.

We will not represent a shipment as duties unpaid where the selected shipping service requires sender-paid import charges.

Salt Water Surf Co. ships to Saudi Arabia where the selected products and shipping services are eligible for import and delivery.

7. BRAZIL SHIPPING

Orders entering Brazil may be subject to import duties, taxes, customs clearance fees and other government charges.

Where permitted under the applicable shipping and customs arrangements, these charges are payable by the customer.

Where Salt Water Surf Co. is legally required to collect or pay import charges, we will comply with those requirements.

Brazilian customs authorities or delivery providers may require customers to supply additional identification or information, including a CPF or CNPJ number.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate customs information requested for clearance.

Mandatory Brazilian consumer protection rights, including applicable statutory cancellation and withdrawal rights, remain unaffected.

8. OTHER INTERNATIONAL DESTINATIONS

We currently offer international shipping only to destinations made available through our Shopify checkout.

Where shipping is available to an additional destination, shipping charges are calculated according to order weight and delivery destination.

We may decline or cancel orders to destinations where we cannot provide a suitable shipping service, meet customs requirements or lawfully ship the goods.

If we cancel an order because we cannot fulfil it, we will refund the amounts paid for the affected goods and applicable shipping charges.

9. INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMS DUTIES, TAXES & IMPORT CHARGES

IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ BEFORE PLACING AN INTERNATIONAL ORDER

For international destinations where receiver-paid import arrangements are available, orders are generally shipped on a Delivered at Place (DAP) basis, with import duties and destination-country taxes unpaid.

Under this arrangement, the customer is responsible for paying applicable import charges to the destination country's customs authority or delivery provider.

Exceptions apply where applicable law, customs requirements or the shipping service requires Salt Water Surf Co. to collect or prepay import charges.

This may include certain shipments to the United States.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, international shipping charges do not include:

• Import duties

• Import taxes

• VAT or GST imposed by the destination country

• Customs tariffs

• Customs clearance fees

• Carrier processing or administration charges

Where the receiver-paid arrangement applies, these charges are payable by the customer.

Where Salt Water Surf Co. is legally required to collect or pay particular charges, we will handle them in accordance with applicable law.

Customer Responsibilities

International customers are responsible for:

• Checking their country's import requirements

• Paying import charges legally payable by the recipient

• Providing accurate customs information or identification

• Complying with applicable import restrictions

• Responding to reasonable customs clearance requests

• Accepting delivery or collecting parcels when required

Salt Water Surf Co. does not control the amount of duties, taxes or other fees imposed by destination countries.

We recommend that customers check their country's import regulations and potential charges before placing an order.

10. REFUSED DELIVERIES, UNPAID CUSTOMS CHARGES & RETURNED PARCELS

Where customers are responsible for paying import charges, they must arrange payment as required by the destination customs authority or delivery provider.

If a customer refuses delivery, declines to pay applicable import charges or fails to collect their parcel, the shipping carrier may return the parcel to Australia.

Where a parcel is returned because of unpaid import charges, refusal of delivery or failure to collect:

• Actual return shipping costs may be charged to the customer or deducted from a refund where permitted by law.

• Reasonable customs clearance or return processing charges directly resulting from the refusal may also be payable by the customer where legally permitted.

• Any refund will be assessed in accordance with the customer's statutory rights and the circumstances of the return.

• Original shipping charges may be non-refundable where permitted by applicable law.

We do not charge arbitrary penalties or restocking fees.

If the carrier does not return the parcel, or the goods are lost or disposed of, any refund entitlement will be assessed according to the circumstances and applicable consumer protection law.

These conditions do not override statutory cancellation, withdrawal, refund or consumer guarantee rights.

They also do not apply to the extent that a failed delivery results from an error by Salt Water Surf Co. or our failure to meet a legal obligation.

11. ORDER PROCESSING & DISPATCH

Orders are processed during our normal business operating periods, excluding public holidays and notified store closures.

We aim to dispatch orders as quickly as possible.
