Refund policy

At Saltwater Surf Co., we want you to love your purchase. If something isn't quite right, we may offer a return or exchange, subject to the conditions below.

In-Store Purchases

Items purchased in-store may be returned or exchanged within 14 days of purchase.

Online Purchases

For online orders, a return request must be submitted within 28 days of the purchase date. Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted.

Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return or exchange, items must:

  • Be unworn, unused, and unwashed
  • Be in original condition
  • Have all original tags attached
  • Not have tags removed, altered, torn, or written on
  • Be returned in original packaging where applicable
  • Be accompanied by proof of purchase

Items that do not meet these requirements may not be accepted.

The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:
• Swimwear
• Earrings
• Toe rings
• Body care products

All returns and exchanges are subject to management approval.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is confirmed to be faulty.

Online purchases may also be returned in-store with proof of purchase.

Processing Times

Approved returns are generally processed within 3 business days of receipt.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Sale & Promotional Items

Discounted merchandise, sale items, clearance items, promotional items, and final sale items are not eligible for return, exchange, refund, store credit, or change-of-mind returns.

This does not affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Footwear Returns

Footwear must be returned:

  • Unworn
  • In original condition
  • In the original shoe box
  • With all original packaging

Please try footwear on indoors before deciding whether to keep it.

Returns may be declined if:

  • Soles show signs of wear
  • Footwear has been worn outdoors
  • Packaging has been damaged
  • Shoe boxes have been written on, taped, or altered

Sunglasses Returns

Sunglasses must be returned in original condition and free from scratches.

Returns may be declined if sunglasses show signs of wear, damage, or missing packaging.

Damages & Issues

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If your item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order so we can review the issue and make it right.

Faulty Items

If you believe your item has a manufacturing fault, please contact us as soon as possible and provide:

  • Proof of purchase
  • Photos of the fault
  • A description of the issue

If an item is determined to be faulty, we will provide a remedy in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

Approved faulty returns will receive return shipping at no cost.
